APEX AI Under development

AI-Assisted Aerospace Design, Development & Safety Assessment

From concept to certification, through a deterministic workflow with integrated AI assistance.

APEX helps users make informed engineering decisions and connects those decisions to requirements, analyses, and supporting evidence—maintaining traceability, identifying gaps and inconsistencies, and supporting certification documentation.

PHASE 1

Deterministic Development and Safety Workflow Based on Standards

Establish a connected workflow based on ARP4754 system development guidance, ARP4761 system safety guidance, and CS 25.1309 safety requirements.

Guide users from concept and development planning through functional development, hazard assessment, system architecture, requirements allocation, development assurance, validation, verification, and certification evidence.

Each activity defines its required inputs, expected outputs, dependencies, and completion criteria. Maintain traceability across engineering activities, record decisions and assumptions, track unresolved issues, and generate evidence and documentation throughout planning and execution.

NEXT PHASE · PHASE 2

Integrated AI Assistance and Expanded Design Guidance

Extend the workflow to CS-E and broader CS-25 design requirements, incorporating design and modeling knowledge, methods, data, and tools from:

  • Publicly available resources

Books, technical publications, research papers, published projects, design methods, models, and experimental findings.

  • Industry- and organization-specific resources

Company projects, theoretical and practical engineering knowledge, design and development data, models, prototypes, tools, products, test results, and lessons learned.

Integrate AI agents throughout the workflow to support engineering decisions, design and modeling, safety assessment, requirements validation, change-impact analysis, and evidence preparation. Check requirements for clarity, completeness, consistency, and duplication, while expanding automatic traceability and documentation generation.
